We issued the following statement yesterday in response to Government guidelines issued over the last few days.

We have deliberated long & hard over the last few days, but we feel this is the only responsible thing to do under the circumstances, the quicker we all isolate the quicker this virus can be sent packing.

People & companies who fail to undertake the same stance are just adding to the problem & will only result in longer & tougher sanctions being imposed, we all have a responsibility to eradicate this virus.

All departments will be closed for the foreseeable future, with exception to our sales office which is being manded from Home by Lisa during these difficult times, installations ceased from last night, our storage facility in Dawlish is fully lockdown & no deliveries will be accepted as all our installation crews have been sent home to protect their health & wellbeing.

Working together will see us all come through the other side, how long that takes all depends on how selfish others are,

We applaud you if you have already taken these important steps, if you haven’t then please think carefully, you are putting others in danger & has I have eluded to above the longer people take to isolate the longer the shutdown will be

CORONA VIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE - 1700 - 23/03/2020

Due to the current ongoing crisis the whole world is facing, & following Government instructions, guidelines & advice we have made the difficult decision as at 1700 on Monday 23/03/2020 to close our storage facility in Dawlish & suspend all installation, sadly, this will include all site survey’s

We have a duty of care to all our staff & customers & believe this is the only responsible thing to do.

We will still offer emergency repair service, BUT only were the garage door is broken, & you need access to your food in fridges &/or freezers in the garage were no other access is available, all other non emergency repairs will have to wait.

All payments will have to be telephoned through to Lisa, as no face to face contact will be engaged, you will have to remain in doors & communication with or repair engineer will be by telephone only.

If you attempt to communicate with the engineer face to face, the engineer has instructions to leave immediately.

We urge everyone to stay at home where ever & whenever possible, the quicker we isolate which will prevent this deadly virus spreading the sooner we can all get back to work & socialising again.

Preventing this virus spreading will also help our fantastic Doctors & Nurses in the NHS to help the ones which do sadly contract the virus.

When this is contained & is no longer a threat, we can all get back to our family & friends.

For smaller parts the cost of shipping is automatically calculated according to weight, and is clearly displayed in the shopping basket before you check out.


Delivery Times

Spare Parts and Operators

Most items are dispatched same day and are sent 1st Class post (Some items will be dispatched Recorded Sign for), however please allow 5 working days. Larger parts will be dispatched via courier and must be signed for. In the event that no one is available to sign, goods will be returned to our carrier’s depot and you will be contacted to arrange a convenient time to re-deliver, any additional costs incurred will be automatically charged for and receipts will be forwarded on.

Please ensure you return the goods via a signed for service so that we do receive any parts which are to be returned, we cannot accept responsibility for parts which go missing in the post, we will be unable to issue refunds/exchanges for parts which do not arrive.

Garage Doors

Please allow between 7 days – 4 weeks. We will call you to arrange a delivery time before we dispatch your door. Prices do NOT include fitting. Please see under Servicing Options > Door Installation on the product menu for fitting costs.



Spare Parts

If you find that the spare part ordered is the incorrect part required, we will exchange for the correct part once identified. Any additional costs will be charged accordingly. Obviously, if the required part is cheaper than the original part that was ordered, then a refund will be issued. Please Note: Any replacement parts which are sent out will incur an additional postage charge, but this will be reduced to half price.


Garage Doors and Remote Control Systems

When purchasing your new garage door and/or remote control system, we offer assistance before and after checkout. Once you have purchased your door, our customer service department will contact you to confirm your measurements.

All orders for garage doors and remote control systems can be returned to us, providing they haven’t been installed/unwrapped and the fitting packs are unopened and undamaged. If you do not require a replacement door, a charge for restocking may be incurred to cover any transportation costs from our suppliers – normally between 10% and 20%.

If you do require a replacement door, there will usually be a charge to cover transportation costs from our suppliers, but this will be at a reduced rate. However, please be assured we will do everything we can to eliminate incorrect doors being ordered and we will not leave you with a door you cannot use. We will do our best to change over the door at the cheapest option available.



Should there be anything which prevents the installation being carried which is outside our control, then a charge of £100 + VAT will be applied to cover a wasted visit, this is in addition to any restocking charges on the garage door and/or remote control systems.



You have the right to cancel your order within 24 hours of placing your order over the internet, an email must be received within the 24 hour period, If you cancel your order outside this period you will have your payment refunded less all postage charges, provided you return the goods at your cost to reach us in an undamaged/unopened condition, a charge of £15 + VAT will be incurred to cover admin cost at our end.
